In 2002, Geek Squad became part of Best Buy, and ever since then, they’ve provided trusted, expert service for millions of customers. Whether it’s installation, setup, protection, support, or repair, Geek Squad Agents are ready to take the hassle out of customers' technology woes.

Background

Objective

As part of the Strategic Growth Office at Best Buy, I was tasked with designing a brand new experience for Geek Squad On Demand, a pilot program that allows customers to get certain Geek Squad services whenever and wherever they need it, including same day in home service. As a pilot program, the goal was to test the viability of Geek Squad On Demand as a service to see if it was something that would provide value to our customers.

Use Cases

I decided to host a Super Bowl party at the last minute. I purchased a brand new 70 inch TV for the event, but the big game’s tomorrow and I really need it mounted on my wall ASAP!

I just bought a brand new computer and printer. I’m not very tech savvy and could really use some help getting everything set up.

I’m traveling for business, and my laptop quit working on me. How do I get it fixed when I’m so far away from home?
